Next Steps…

The following outlines how PHS will work in satisfying your order.

  1. Once you have placed your order and made payment a full documentation pack will be sent out within 24 hours by first class post.
  2. Our customer service department will call you within 48 hours of the documents being posted to check receipt and assist with completing forms.
  3. On receipt of your documentation our investigation department will undertake a full assessment of the immediate area and will send all evidence along with full documentation to the appropriate regional valuation office agency. We guarantee to do this within 5 working days.
  4. The valuation office agency will take 8 to 10 weeks to respond. We will chase for a progress report after 8 weeks and weekly thereafter.
  5. The response from the valuation office agency will generally be either:-
  6. Agreement to review your banding.

Should the VOA agree to review your banding we will advise you of this and also try to agree a date with the VOA, once agreed the VOA will deal directly with you and any rebate will be paid by way of a cheque made payable to the council tax payer.

Rejection of our evidence.

Should the VOA reject our evidence we will undertake a full re-assessment and submit evidence again within 5 working days.

Request for further evidence.

Should the VOA request further evidence we will undertake a full re-assessment and submit evidence again within 5 working days.

Our Fees.

The only fee you pay is the initial one-off charge (typically by debit / credit card, cheque or bank transfer).

This fee covers the initial investigation & evidence, the documentation pack, all time costs & disbursements relating to communications with the local council and the valuation officers along with further gathering of evidence.

PHS will not take any deduction from your rebate – it is 100% yours.

Cancellation.

You may cancel your order within 14 days of placing it.

All you have to do is send the documentation pack back to us along with the cancellation notice using the pre-paid, pre-addressed envelope we supply.

There will be small administration / documentation charge of £35 + VAT deducted and the balance immediately refunded.
