Refund Policy

1. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

You have the right to cancel this service within 14 days, without giving any reason, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

  • The cancellation period begins on the day you receive your document pack.

  • To cancel your service, you must inform us of your decision by:

    • Sending a clear email to support@propertyandhomesolutions.co.uk, or

    • Returning the cancellation form provided in your document pack via recorded delivery.

  • We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice. We will issue the refund to the original payment card used. Your bank or card issuer may take a few additional days to show the refund on your statement, but we will have processed it within the legal timeframe.

  • You are responsible for returning all documentation to us. We will provide a pre-paid envelope for this purpose. However, your refund is not conditional on us receiving the documents back, provided you have sent them within the allowed time.

2. OUR FEES AND CHARGES

Property and Home Solutions will charge a one-off total fee to cover all our costs in providing the service agreed upon. This fee is fully inclusive of all administrative duties, including carrying out all checks, searches, handling forms and other paperwork, and associated correspondence.

No further charges will be made subsequent to the initial fee. Clients will receive 100% of any rebate agreed, which will be paid directly by the local council tax authority by way of a cheque sent to the appropriate address and made payable to the council taxpayer at that address.

3. CHANGES TO OUR SERVICE

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to our services, including price, content, or features. If we make a change that negatively affects you, we will:

  • Notify you via email at least 15 days before the change comes into effect.

  • Give you the right to cancel your service without penalty if you do not agree to the change. If you choose to cancel, we will issue a pro-rata refund for any services you have paid for but not yet received.
